Fall in Kyoto is so Beautiful!

"Cycle Tokyo" supposed to be the blog about Tokyo, but why not post some photos from Kyoto. This is the pagoda in Shinnyo-do Temple.

More pictures of Shinnyo-do Temple. A taxi driver has told us that the Temple has the prettiest garden, and he was right. I spent over 20 years in one season weather in Southern California, and it's nice to have four seasons although I really hate cold weather.

Arashiyama and Togetsukyo Bridge. Very popular place and lot of people! The Riki-sha drivers take you anywhere in the area, but we just walked.

Tenryuji Temple. The contrast between red maple trees and green bamboos was so beautiful!

Okochi-sanso. Mr. Okochi was a famous samurai movie star, and the house we visited was his second home where he had stayed when he was filming in Kyoto.

Imperial Palace in Kyoto. The Emperor used to live in Kyoto before the capital of Japan was moved to Tokyo. I like visiting Emperor's property because it's always free and very well maintained.
